Dr Laurence Bishop Attends Bio-Europe Digital 2020
Dr Laurence Bishop is attending Bio-Europe Digital 2020 from the 26th to the 29th of October.
Dr Michael Morton and Dr Richard Knight joined the UK delegation at The UK Pavilion at BIO-Europe last year. ApconiX benefited from a Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP) grant offered by the Department of International Trade.
“I have fond memories of the week apart from the long hours,” commented Mike. “The events at the UK Pavilion were a welcome respite.”
Richard added, “Bio-Europe 2019 was an incredibly busy and productive week, with the opportunity to meet a large range of decision-makers. Hopefully, Laurence will find the virtual meeting similarly positive (even without the gin)”.
In his planning, Laurence said “Bio-Europe will be a bit different this year but we are all starting to get used to new ways of working and connecting with people. I’m sure the digital format will mean there are new people able to attend this year, as well as contacts, friends and colleagues from previous years with whom it’s important to stay in touch.”
BIO-Europe Digital is Europe’s largest partnering conference for the global life sciences industry. The event, organized by EBD Group, will take place from October 26 to 29, 2020 in a fully digital format. There will be on demand sessions, per recorded sessions and company presentations as well as partnering opportunities.
The event is expected to bring together over 3,000 executives from more than 2,000 life sciences companies from more than 50 countries. Without the need to travel, more delegates can participate worldwide. With program content in business development, therapeutic areas, start-up innovations, digital health, and more available on demand beforehand as well as live sessions during the conference, there is more opportunity to watch panels and pitches without interrupting scheduled one-to-one meetings.
